Greece’s Development Ministry announced on 24 October 2026 that assessment of 186 investment projects was completed within 90 days. The release concerns two Development Law schemes and refers to provisional tables published by the General Secretariat for Private Investments.

Project breakdown

Under “Special Aid Areas”, second round, the ministry records 69 projects meeting eligibility criteria: 54 in manufacturing and 15 in tourism. Investment value is approximately €328.1 million, with stated support of approximately €186.5 million through grants and tax exemptions.

Under “Manufacturing and Supply Chain”, fourth round, it records 117 eligible projects worth approximately €395.5 million, with stated support of approximately €205.5 million, also in those two forms.

Assessment and subsequent decisions

The ministry puts combined investment value at €723.6 million. This is an assessment result with provisional tables. The release alone does not establish that grants have been paid, projects completed or a final inclusion decision issued for every project.

The ministry links the projects to more than 2,000 new jobs. This is its estimate for the investments, rather than an independent count of hires already made. The release sets no new general application deadline.
