The left lane of the Athens-bound A1 motorway is closed between km 213.4 and km 209.8 for resurfacing from 7:30 a.m. on Friday 16 October 2026, according to operator Kentriki Odos.
The restriction is scheduled to apply around the clock until 5:30 p.m. on Monday 26 October. Drivers use the right lane; this is not a full motorway closure.
The operator’s announcement, published on 15 October and cross-checked against today’s ERT report, allows for earlier reopening if work finishes ahead of schedule. Follow the temporary signs along this section.
