Gaza: WFP cuts monthly food assistance
About 500,000 people lose programme support.
On 19 October, the World Food Programme said funding shortages would reduce monthly assistance in Gaza from 1.6 million people to 1.1 million, according to Reuters.
WFP country director for Palestine Shaun Hughes told AFP that the cuts begin this month. Monthly assistance includes food or cash support.
