Updated 10 October 2026, 17:08 Athens time — What changed: added the initial-aid timetable presented by Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Minister Evangelos Tournas, conditional on completed inspections and complete files.
In a Real FM interview published by the ministry on 10 October, the minister estimated that damage recording in Crete would finish in the coming week. DAEFK inspections of homes and businesses are ongoing.

This is a conditional timetable, not confirmation of completed payments or a deadline automatically running from 10 October. The announcement sets neither individual aid amounts nor a new application deadline.
