MICHELIN 2027: Thessaloniki and Santorini join the Guide — two stars for Lycabettus
The selection announced on 20 October 2026 includes 62 restaurants across three Greek destinations.

Thessaloniki and Santorini join Athens in Michelin’s Greek selection for the first time. The announcement dated 20 October 2026 concerns the 2027 edition.
Lycabettus on Santorini receives two stars. The Guide also announces seven new one-star restaurants and seven new Bib Gourmand distinctions, a separate category from stars.
Cooperation with the GNTO
The Tourism Ministry confirms the expansion and says the Greek National Tourism Organization’s partnership with Michelin continues for a third year.
The ministry links the partnership to international promotion and destinations’ culinary identity. That is its stated policy objective, not a measurement of increased bookings or revenue. The distinctions are attributed to the Guide’s assessment.
