Updated 20.10.2026 · 23:56, Athens time — What changed:

Correction: the full official notice includes a public subscription for individuals from 20 through 22 October 2026. The previous version of this report, which said this was not a retail subscription invitation, was incomplete.

How to subscribe

Individuals may obtain the Treasury bills through any bank or brokerage firm, up to a maximum nominal amount of €15,000 per individual.

The securities must be registered in an account in Greece’s Dematerialised Securities System (SAT). The account can be opened through the distributors with an identity document and Greek tax number.

What is not yet known

The issue price will equal the weighted average price of successful competitive bids at the 21 October auction. No result or yield has yet been announced. The total amount offered through the public subscription will be announced after it closes.

The bills have a 26-week maturity, expire on 23 April 2027 and settle on 23 October 2026. This is an opportunity to purchase government securities, not a subsidy or bank deposit.
