Panteion: funding opportunity of up to €5 million for a new administration building
The ministry announced a call that can cover acquisition, necessary studies and fitting out. A completed property purchase has not been established.

The Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports announced a funding opportunity of up to €5 million to contribute towards a building purchase by Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences on 23 October 2026. According to the ministry, a ministerial decision activates a relevant call under its 2026–2030 Sectoral Development Programme.
Administration and academic space
The plan provides space for administration, as well as seminar and postgraduate classrooms and laboratories. The announcement describes eligible costs as potentially including acquisition, necessary studies, renovation, functional fitting out of building facilities and related costs to put them into use.
The amount is a ceiling
€5 million is the funding opportunity’s upper limit, rather than a documented final purchase price or funds already paid. The announcement names no specific property or seller and reports no signed purchase contract.
No application deadline, full call text or opening date for the new building is provided. It therefore does not establish that acquisition or relocation of services has been completed. This is funding for university infrastructure rather than an individual student benefit.
