Eleftherios Petrounias won the silver medal on rings at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam. The Hellenic Gymnastics Federation confirmed the result in an announcement dated 24 October 2026.
This now confirms a completed final and a medal, rather than only the qualification described in the previous update. The federation also congratulates his coach, Dimitris Raftis, and the national team delegation.
The federation’s announcement does not provide a detailed final score. Qualification scores retained in the history are not scores from today’s final.

In its new announcement on 18 October 2026, the Hellenic Gymnastics Federation gives Tantalidis 86.164 points and Chronopoulos 85.099. The text does not provide final ranking positions or confirm their qualification for a final; neither conclusion follows from the scores alone.

Final on 24 October
The federation schedules the final for Saturday, 24 October. Qualification is not a final result or a medal. Today’s announcement does not give Petrounias’s numerical final qualification position, so his earlier provisional sixth place is not presented as definitive.
