Navy ship visits: dates and hours in Thessaloniki and Piraeus
KIMON opens for visits in Thessaloniki from 24 October. Piraeus visiting hours run from 26–28 October, with entry through Gate E-11.
Hellenic Navy ships in Thessaloniki and Piraeus have different visiting schedules during the 28 October celebrations. The Hellenic Navy General Staff announced the hours on 21 October 2026.
Thessaloniki — frigate KIMON
- Saturday 24 October: 10:00–18:00.
- Sunday 25 October: 10:00–17:00.
- Monday 26 October: 10:00–12:00 for schools; 12:00–17:00 for the public.
- Tuesday 27 October: 10:00–12:00 for schools; 12:00–17:00 for the public.
Access is through Thessaloniki Port Authority facilities. This schedule does not specify visiting hours for KIMON on Wednesday 28 October.
Piraeus — ELLI, DANIOLOS and MATROZOS
Piraeus visits cover the frigate ELLI, fast attack missile craft DANIOLOS and submarine MATROZOS, with entry through Gate E-11.
- Monday 26 October: 11:00–17:00.
- Tuesday 27 October: 09:00–17:00.
- Wednesday 28 October: 09:00–17:00.
How the visits work
Visitors can tour the external decks, accompanied by crew members who present the ships’ systems and capabilities. All dates and hours above concern October 2026, Greek local time.
