Rhodes: business-damage declarations due by 23 October — what registration covers
The regional authority provides an official online form for the 14 October storm. A declaration starts damage registration and does not constitute compensation approval.

Businesses in Rhodes affected by the storm of 14 October are being asked to declare their losses by Friday 23 October 2026, according to information from the South Aegean Region’s Civil Protection Directorate reported by ERT on 15 October.
The region’s official online form was checked separately. It is titled “Registration of businesses affected by the severe weather of 14/10/2026” and requests business details and a short description of damage. The deadline comes from the announcement as reported by ERT; it is not displayed in the form’s own text.
Which damage is covered
The process concerns equipment, merchandise, raw materials, stored products and other business assets. Damage to buildings falls under a separate authority: the General Directorate for Natural-Disaster Impact Restoration at Greece’s Ministry for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.
Practical steps
Affected businesses are asked to complete the form on the regional authority’s official website and contact damages@pnai.gov.gr. Fields include the business name as registered with the tax office, tax identification number, tax office, address and municipal unit, representative’s details, telephone numbers, email and a short damage description.
JavaScript must be enabled in the browser to complete the online form.
Compensation is not automatic
Collecting declarations is the initial registration stage. Inspections and assessment by the competent committee follow, subject to the applicable requirements. This process does not announce a guaranteed aid amount or payment date.
