School meals start on 13 October: how parents can report problems
Parents can contact the school administration or OPEKA on 1555 about quality or delivery concerns.
School-meal distribution starts on Tuesday 13 October 2026, according to ministry and OPEKA announcements issued on 12 October.
Reporting problems
Parents should notify the school administration, which can activate the receiving committee. They can also call OPEKA on 1555.
The three-member committee checks delivery, quantity, temperature, transport and packaging. Deviations are recorded and investigated.
Who participates
The programme covers all pupils at participating schools. Families should confirm whether their own school participates with its administration.
