Aleksandar Vucic, the lead figure of the Aleksandar Vucic–United Serbia list, conceded his list’s election defeat and said the Student List had won. The full account was published on his website on 25 October 2026, credited to the Tanjug news agency.
Concession and counting
Speaking at SNS election headquarters, he said he did not have final results and based his assessment on a stratified sample. He estimated 135–140 seats for the Student List and around 105 for his own side.
Those figures are estimates attributed to Vucic, rather than an official RIK allocation of seats. The concession is a substantial political development, distinct from completion of the official count and certification of results.
The preceding article update reported turnout of 64.89% by 18:00 local time from RIK’s sixth briefing. It remains in the history as a measurement at a specified time, without being presented as final turnout.

When and how voting takes place
Polling stations open at 07:00 and close at 20:00 local time, equivalent to 08:00–21:00 in Athens. Voters attend the station where they are registered, carrying a valid identity card or passport. Those inside or immediately outside the polling station at closing time can vote, according to RIK.
