Balanced eating: variety across the week
Everyday care is built through combinations of foods and small, repeated choices.

A meal need not be perfect to belong in a balanced diet. The NHS stresses that balance can be considered across a whole day or week.
WHO and the NHS emphasise variety: vegetables and fruit, pulses, wholegrains and suitable sources of protein. The overall pattern matters more than one food with an impressive advertisement.
A practical starting point is planning a few combinations using familiar ingredients: pulses with salad, or fish with vegetables and a grain accompaniment. These are planning examples rather than a personalised meal plan.
Needs vary with age, activity and health. A dietitian can adapt general principles for specific dietary requirements. Wellbeing does not require promises of detoxification or sudden bans.
