This is a new programme on a different section from the 23–24 October works retained below as history. It starts on Thursday 29 October and is not described as a closure already operating on Wednesday.
Previous updates — history
The Central Macedonia Region has scheduled two maintenance operations on Thessaloniki’s ring road from Friday 23 October at 22:00 until Saturday 24 October 2026 at 06:00, weather permitting.
Work locations
The 22 October announcement covers shoulder maintenance and vegetation cutting at Konstantinoupolitika junction (K10) and between the Moudania exit (K12) and the Ethnikis Antistaseos junction (K13). Mobile crews will require relatively short closures of individual road sections.
A separate announcement dated 21 October schedules pedestrian-crossing markings during the same hours at the at-grade junction with Botsari, at the exit towards Monastiriou, and Ath. Diakou, near Viokarpet.
For drivers
The region says it has coordinated with Thessaloniki Traffic Police on the necessary traffic arrangements. The announcements describe neither a complete ring-road closure nor a specific diversion. Drivers should follow temporary signs and police instructions.
