Tourist ports: five aid approvals revoked
The Tourism Ministry decision cites failure to submit a final payment request by 30 June 2026. Which investment plans are affected.

Greece’s Ministry of Tourism has revoked five aid approval decisions for tourist-port investments in a document posted on its official website on 23 October 2026. The decision itself is dated 21 October 2026, bears protocol number 19917 and Diavgeia identifier ΡΖΣ2465ΧΘΟ-ΒΧΩ.
The reason stated in the decision
The ministry says the obligation to submit a final aid payment request was not met. It cites 30 June 2026 as the deadline under the amended call and the decision governing investment-plan timetables. This is the administrative reason for revocation recorded in the document.
The five approvals
- MARINA ELOUNDA HILLS SA: upgrading infrastructure at a new tourist port — approval 350/9 January 2025.
- Municipality of Nea Propontida: upgrading a leisure-boat shelter — approval 351/9 January 2025.
- Kos Tourist Port Operating Single-Member SA: tourist-port upgrades — approval 389/9 January 2025.
- FYLY YACHTING AND TRAVEL Single-Member Private Company: tourist-port upgrades — approval 4472/13 March 2025.
- Patras Port Authority SA: upgrading the tourist port “Patradise Mega Yacht Marina” — approval 707/16 January 2025.
What changes in funding
The act revokes these specific aid application approvals under SUB5 “Upgrading Tourist Ports”, part of Recovery and Resilience Facility Action 16931, with OPS TA code 5155005.
The operative provisions do not state an aggregate revoked amount or order repayment of funds. They also do not specify the projects’ physical implementation stage or whether they could continue with other funding. Revocation of the approvals alone does not establish port closures or the permanent abandonment of the investments.
