The Hellenic Parliament records passage on 20 October 2026 of three bills ratifying agreements on protecting classified information. They are international conventions under the Ministry of National Defence.

The three agreements

  • With Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the protection of classified information.
  • With Luxembourg, for the exchange and mutual protection of classified information.
  • With Slovenia, for the mutual protection of exchanged classified information.

The next institutional step

All three full records show the stage “Passed Bill” and a passage date of 20 October 2026. They were submitted on 16 October and list a meeting of the relevant committee on 19 October.

The official page explains that this list covers passed bills awaiting publication in the Government Gazette. The newly confirmed stage is therefore parliamentary passage. Publication of the final laws and the agreements’ commencement conditions require the relevant acts and are not established by the listing alone.

The ratifications concern information protection. The records do not announce a new weapons purchase or military deployment.
