Ministry of Culture: applications open for 422 five-month posts until 19 October
The online process opened at 00:01 and closes at 07:00 on 19 October. Taxisnet credentials and final submission of the application with supporting documents are required.

Online applications opened at 00:01 on Friday 9 October 2026 for 422 fixed-term posts at archaeological sites and museums overseen by the Ministry of Culture's General Directorate of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage.
The deadline is 07:00 on Monday 19 October 2026. Contracts run for five months from the date they are signed.
Specialisms covered
SOX 2/2026 distributes posts across services and sites in many parts of Greece. They include technical-education administrative and accounting staff, secondary-education day guards, secondary-education night guards for museums and archaeological sites, and compulsory-education indoor cleaning staff.
Applicants should consult the full table for the post code, workplace and required or additional qualifications. A broad reference to a specialism does not mean that identical qualifications or the locality criterion apply to every code.
Applications are online only
The application and statutory declaration must be submitted exclusively through the Ministry of Culture's recruitment application or through gov.gr, under Employment and Insurance → Public-sector employment → Applications for recruitment at the Ministry of Culture. Personal Taxisnet credentials are required.
The required documents are uploaded with the application. It can be edited before final submission, and the submission can be withdrawn for corrections until the deadline. To be valid, however, its final status must be definitively submitted. Applications sent by other means are not examined.
Change to proof of locality
For post codes where locality applies, the notice highlights a new method of proof. Applicants must provide the electronic History of Changes – Natural Person's Residential Address certificate from myAADE, showing residence in the relevant municipality for at least two years.
The notice says that neither the municipality's permanent-residence certificate nor a locality certificate proving only municipal-citizen status is accepted for this criterion. Locality does not apply to the remaining codes where the notice does not expressly provide for it.
Another point applicants should check
In addition to the documents required by the notice and the SOX appendix, candidates must upload an extra statutory declaration about any employment since 19 July 2004 in Ministry of Culture services or the former TDPEAE. Where such employment existed, the service, duration and specialism must be listed in detail.
The 422-post notice bears protocol number 404371/11-09-2026 and an official Greek transparency identifier. The active window was published separately by the Ministry of Culture; the earlier date on the main notice does not change the application period that opened today.
